Towing Specifications
Both available towbars are developed for the XF Saloon from 2008 to present. The maximum permitted towing weights, D-values and S-values are model year dependent:
- For 2008–04/2015 XF Saloon: Max braked towing weight: 1850 kg, D-value: 10.25 kN, S-value (vertical load): 75 kg.
- For 05/2015–present XF Saloon: Max braked towing weight: 2200 kg, D-value: 11.5 kN, S-value (vertical load): 110 kg.

Trailer Electrics Compatibility
The Jaguar XF towbars support integration with trailer lighting, including indicators, brake lights, and rear fog lights. Modern Jaguar models may require vehicle electronics coding or activation to ensure correct electrical system operation and warning light functionality when towing.
